The College students, along with the Radhadesh community, will hold monthly programs at homes from now on. Mr. Dhameliya Mohan kindly invited us to his home in Antwerp, where we spent a wonderful Sunday.
After a warm reception, we ate around ten tasty preparations. Then we sang bhajans, musical glorification of Lord Krishna. Next, Radhika Ramana Dasa, who was teaching two courses late in the Spring term, lectured to our hosts’ other guests in Hindi. Judging by the response of the audience, it must have been funny and inspiring.
A Brijbasi dance, performed by two Slovenian devotees, glorified the swinging of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. This type of dance, done with sticks, is traditional in Gujarat, and the Gujarati ladies at our program appreciated it. After a presentation about Bhaktivedanata College by Jaya Krsna Dasa, the administrative director, we closed with a kirtana, in which all took part.
