What do you think of Bhaktivedanta College College?
It is a fantastic opportunity for the movement and members because through it we are getting a better education and understanding of the world. It is also paving a way for future careers in various fields of study. It is a very promising initiative and I am proud to be a part of it.
What kind of impact do you think a project like this will have?
In the long run I think it will be very powerful because these students will be learning how to deal with the world in a proper, conscious and deep way. This will help them develop into informed members of ISKCON who will be able to meet with people (of different beliefs) and relate with them in an intelligent, aware and informed way.
This is your third year teaching Sad-Darshans at BC. How has teaching the course changed you?
Personally it has allowed me to go deeper by forcing me find answers to various questions of philosophy in Prabhupadas books. In this way it has helped me to go deeper in KC.
How do you find this year’s group?
I am very impressed. Without hesitation everyone just threw themselves into the course despite the fact it is quite challenging with all the philosophies. There is lots of power and enthusiasm!
