Here at Bhaktivedanta College we strive to give our students the best education, such that they will be deeply enriched in their personal lives and enabled to meaningfully contribute to the expanding Vaishnava culture in their future spheres of influence.
To this end, in all academic aspects of college life, my task as Dean of Studies is to facilitate the students and faculty in “realizing the whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Much of what we do is pioneering work, especially bringing together the ancient tradition of Krishna-bhakti with contemporary rigorous scholarship; yet we have both a treasure-house of knowledge within this tradition to draw upon and professionally qualified instructors, who are experienced in the real world of learning and teaching.
I feel very fortunate to be part of Bhaktivedanta College, where, in my small way, I feel I can contribute something to an important component in the development of our individual and collective cultures of bhakti-vedanta, or devotional understanding.
