In 2003, University of Wales Lampeter (UWL) accredited the three-year academic course, culminating in the Bachelor of Theology degree in ‘Vaishnava Studies’, the first ever in the English-speaking world.
In 2008 the Theology degree was renamed to Theology and Religious Studies degree and a new degree (Education and Theology and Religion) was introduced.
Both degrees were validated by the University of Chester. The academic year 2015/16 marked the last intake in the programs accredited by the University of Chester.
At the moment, Bhaktivedanta College is in the process of setting up a new accreditation procedure with another validating partner. More info will be posted in the first months of 2017.
