The Bhaktivedanta College Library was founded to facilitate the TRS program, and has been updated to facilitate the later ETR and VTE courses (Bhakti Shastri, etc.). The library contains 8500 books in several languages: English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Gujarati, Sanskrit and Hindi; thirty journals and magazines and several CD/DVD collections.   • Main Books Categories

    All the books are sorted in 17 main categories and more than 186 subcategories.
    1. Srila Prabhupada’s publications (BBT) in English French, Dutch, Polish, German, Spanish, Hindi and Gujarati; Srila Prabhupada's letters, lectures and conversations; biographies of Prabhupada; and Vyasa Puja books 1971 through the present.
    2. Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas: Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Visvanatha Cakravarti, Prabhodananda Sarasvati, Kavi Karnapura, the Six Gosvamis, and others; Vaishnava biographies and songbooks; Vaishnava festivals and places ofpilgrimage.
    3. Contemporary ISKCON authors; ISKCON law books, Gaudiya Math authors.
    4. Academic study of (Gaudiya) Vaishnava traditions, theology of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, studies in bhakti and Vedic culture, Deity worship, Chanting (japa and kirtan) and devotional poetry.
    5. Studies of Indian scriptures (Bhagavata Purana, Caitanya-caritamrta, Garga Samhita, Bhagavad-gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Puranas, Vedas and Upanisads, Manu-samhita, etc.)
    6. Indian philosophy with special emphasis on Vedanta schools (visistadvaita, dvaita, advaita, Chaitanya Vaishnava Vedanta, etc.).
    7. Hindu Studies: Hinduism (academic and general), Indian history, politics and nationalism, modern Hinduism and Hindu reformers, Hindu social studies (varnasrama-dharma), Hindu sages and spirituality, gurus of India, Hindu worship and mythology, karma and reincarnation, etc.
    8. Indian Art (secular and sacred), painting and sculpture, photography, Indian places and travel guides.
    9. Indian literature and poetry, South Asian languages (Sanskrit, etc.), drama, film and theater.
    10. Indian sciences: astrology, architecture, vastu, yoga, palmistry.
    11. World religions: Indian religions, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Parsism, Sikhism, Jainism, Bahai, Scientology, Hare Krishna movement, interreligious dialogue, various disciplines in the study of religion (comparative religion, thematic study of religion, new religious movements, sects/cults and New Age, science and religion, etc.
    12. Western philosophy (original texts), history of philosophy, introduction textbooks, philosophical dictionaries.
    13. Education studies: learning and teaching, history of education, disciplines in education, writing and study skills, qualitative and quantitative research.
    14. Humanistic and social sciences: psychology, sociology, communication, mediation, coaching, conflict resolution, pastoral care, self-help and career guidance.
    15. History, geography, informatics, law, economics, business, management, marketing.
    16. Various humanistic disciplines and approaches to life: globalization, human and animal rights, environmentalism and sustainability, vegetarianism.
    Dictionaries, Encyclopedia Britannica (Macropedia and Micropedia) and other encyclopedias. Our electronic sources are available on the Library’s net hard drive and our physical hard drive, Dropbox and Moodle platform. Bhaktivedanta College Library provides facilities such as: borrowing books, research studies (on site and online), internet (wireless), scanning, printing and photocopying.
